Dr. Wendy Young joined Island Health in October 2013 as research facilitator/KT coordinator. Wendy completed her PhD in Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto, and her Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Queen’s University. In 2013, Wendy relocated from Memorial University, NFLD, where she held a Canada Research Chair in Healthy Aging; she was cross appointed in the School of Nursing and the Division of Community Health and Humanities. She has conducted collaborative health services research and health services evaluations for the past 20 years and has worked with a broad range of healthcare professionals across an array of clinical settings.
